SUSPENSION UPGRADES
tasssm.jpg

The upgrades are for the TASS Generation 1 & Generation 2 suspension systems, and the earlier Horizon's fitted with Torsion axles.

How do you know which suspension you have?

If you have air bags, you have a TASS Generation 1 or 2 suspension. If you have a Horizon, and you do not have air suspension, you have a Torsion axle. For more in depth information read the Suspension Article here.

FULL TASS SUSPENSION UPGRADE:
This upgrade reduces the amount of body roll the trailer experiences by limiting the movement using bump stops and limiting straps. It's very effective and immediately noticeable once you have them fitted.

In conjunction with the bump stops and limiting straps we recommend a retrofitting with custom valved Fox 2.0 race shocks. These shock absorbers improve the rebound and dampening compression. A bolt in cross member changes the shock position to a steeper more optimum angle.

FULL UPGRADE FOR HORIZON TRAILERS:

Fitted at the AT Facility: Cost: $1142.00

Home install Kit form: Cost: $785.58
(involves welding the limit stop tabs to the trailing arm and chassis).

FULL UPGRADE FOR CHASER TRAILERS:

This process is more involved. The existing chassis cross member has to be removed to allow for the placement of the new bolt in cross member. We only do this conversion "in house".

Full Chaser Upgrade: Cost: $1427.00

BASIC TASS Suspension Upgrade:
This upgrade reduces the amount of body roll the trailer experiences by limiting the movement using bump stops and limiting straps. It's very effective and immediately noticeable once you have them fitted.

BASIC UPGRADE FOR CHASER & HORIZON TRAILERS:
Including bump stops, limiting straps and tabs.

Fitted by AT: Cost: $308.00

Home install Kit form: Cost: $118.00
(involves welding the limit stop tabs to the trailing arm).

TORSION FLEX AXLES:
There solution to improve the performance of this axle is more complex. The axle and brackets must be removed and a new suspension system installed. We use our adjustable trailing arm suspension, and offer you the choice of air/over shocks, or coil/over shocks.

All of our Torsion Flex axle replacements are done at our facility in Upland, CA. Air suspension replacement starts out around $2000.00. Call us to discuss the details.

CHASER AWNING SYSTEMS

bracket1sm.jpg

bracket2sm.jpg

AT has designed the hardware to attach an awning to the side of a Chaser or military style trailer.

We use the same stainless steel awning brackets we have used for years on the Horizon trailer, and add additional hardware to mount them to the outside corners of the trailer.

To gain the height needed for head clearance we designed a double extension upright.

You have a choice of awnings, either the Fiamma F35 Pro (72” x 72”), the same one we use on the Horizon, or the Eezi Awn 2000 series 2.0 M awning (78” x 83”).
See www.adventuretrailers.com/awning.html

We’d be more than happy to schedule an appointment for you at our production facility to fit the awning, or we can send you a full kit that you can install yourself using hand tools.

Installed cost:
Utilizing the Fiamma Awning    $   839.00
Utilizing the Eezi Awn Awning $ 1057.00

Kit Cost:
Utilizing the Fiamma Awning    $ 733.00
Utilizing the Eezi Awn Awning $ 952.00

SILENT HITCH PIN

shpsm.jpg

shp2sm.jpg

Silent Hitch Pins take out all the rattling and knocking between the trailer and tow vehicle. The tolerance differences between the receiver tube and the draw bar, or the receiver tube and the coupler, can create quite a noise.

By replacing a regular hitch pin with a locking Silent Hitch Pin all the noise and movement can be gone.

Stop the ovaling of the hole the hitch pin fits into by removing unwanted movement with a Silent Hitch Pin.

Cost: $28.69

LED LIGHTS
worklight4sm.jpg

Many of our owners have fitted these LED work lights to their trailers. We have wired them up to illuminate campsites, the kitchen, and on long extension poles to light up everything! They can be utilized as reverse lights as well as camp lights.

This second generation LED work light is impressive. It shed a very bright white light with 3000 candle power. The light is encased in a heavy duty aluminum housing with an industrial quality fitting.

Read about the specs. on them at www.adventuretrailers.com/12volt_solar.html

Cost: $120.00

REAR STABILIZER

stabilizersm.jpg

I know many of you don't have this item, but it does two important things;

If you're up in your roof top tent, and moving around, the trailer The trailer is going to start moving beneath you. The stabilizer will solidify the trailer and stop you from feeling sea sick!

The stabilizer will also support the rear of the trailer when it's disconnected from the tow vehicle. A valuable safety device if you've got kids who like to climb all over the trailer.

This device slips under the rear of the trailer. After ratcheting the trapezoid into position the rear of the trailer is stabilized. An excellent safety device for use when the trailer is unhitched from the tow vehicle.

Cost: $79.00
