TRAILER SUSPENSION.

Over the years we have worked with different suspension designs, from solid axles with leaf spring to air shocks.

We'd like to share with you our seven year journey leading to us building our own suspension.

SUSPENSION CONVERSIONS.

AT offers conversions to our independent trailing arm suspension for your trailer. All of the conversions are done in house at our facility in Prescott Arizona. The cost is between $2000.00 - $2500.00 and takes 3 to 5 days depending on the complexity of the work.

Typically the work involves removal of the existing suspension, welding in cross members and brackets, and installing our trailing arm system. Depending on how your trailer is constructed and the condition it is in we may need to reinforce critical areas on the chassis.

AT sells air struts, limit straps, and bump stops as parts. We do not sell complete TASS suspension systems for installation by the owner.

PINTLE HITCH TO RECEIVER TUBE CONVERSION.

Owners of military trailers who wish to change out the military pintle and eye set up on their trailers can do so by installing a receiver tube in the tongue of their trailer. AT sells the tongue plate and receiver tube for the conversion.

Will Morgan from Jeep Brokers did a nice job of documenting the work he did on his M416 here.

TIRE CLINIC

In October 2008 Adventure Trailers gave a tire repair clinic at the Expedition Trophy, a competitive and educational event put on by the Overland Society. The clinic provided the participants the opportunity to get hands on experience with the tools and equipment, as well as learning about tire construction.

Join us in our online clinic and we will share the information with you. Become more familiar with the tools before you need them in the field. Click on the picture on the left to start the clinic
